Arnold
Aron Jacobs is an Iroquois artist raised within the traditional
culture and language of the Onondaga nation. His work is
an expression of his spirituality; his symbols are of the
earth and sky - water, wind, thunder and sun. Other themes
in his art depict the ancient ways of the Iroquois, their
clans, their culture. These images range from contemporary
graphics and realism to the mystical. All of his work reveals
a constant searching for new means of expressing his deeply
felt emotions and pride in his heritage.
